SN74LVTH162245-EP: Can SN74LVTH162245-EP be used for PCI data bus and control signals

Hi , i am relatively new to PCI interface and i am interfacing PCI bus from processor to FPGA. Can i use SN74LVTH162245-EP in my PCI data path and control signals?

And can PCI provide control signals for controlling the direction of data buffers?

    First off, I think it is important to understand what type of PCI you are looking for. PCI 1.0 (33Mhz) PCI 2.1 (33 and 66). PCIX 1.0 (133Mhz) PCIX 2.0 (533Mhz), PCIe, .....
    I am not terribly familiar with the earlier generations, and I know that at least one generation relied on the reflected signal for faster operation.

    What generation of PCI are you trying do design? Possibly I can help or point you in the right direction.
