ADC10D1000QML-SP: After Self calibration, Q-Channel gets unstable

Part Number: ADC10D1000QML-SP

Hello,

We are using a ADC10D1000QML for a Front End Application (Input, LNA, DIFF-Amp, ADC) in our EQM Model. During the commissioning, we ascertain a unstable state (Swing with circa 700 MHz) after a self calibration command.

The unstable situation of the Q-Channel is persistent (The swinging signal is not measurable outside the ADC, the swing must be in the ADC or reference pin)

The I-Chanel is 100% healthy and is working well.

Have somebody else the same problem or is there a well known solution available?

Thanks for response.

  • Hi,

The problem you are observing has not been reported before. In order to help you determine the cause, could you please share the following information (we can do this via email if you prefer):

    1) schematics
-including diff-amp driving ADC (common mode bias and signal swing levels)
    -including power supply sources

    2) mode of operation of device. ECM vs non-ECM, DES vs non-DES, etc.

    3) sample clock frequency, input frequency and bandwidth

    Thanks
    Christian
  • Hi,

As I haven't received any feedback on this issue in several weeks, I assume the issue has been solved and will close this thread.

    Thanks
