SN74LXC8T245: Single channel bidirectional voltage translator with schmitt trigger input, direction control pin and can translate from 3.3V to 5V

Hi Team,

Our customer is looking for a single channel bidirectional voltage translator with schmitt trigger input, direction control pin and can translate from 3.3V to 5V. The 5V logic is for user interface but the signal may be slow so that a schmitt trigger is required. Upon checking our product lines, I found SN74LXC8T245 which seems to fit the customer's requirements. Unfortunately, it is an 8 channel bidirectional voltage translator.

It seems we don't have a single device for this application, can you please confirm if we can use a SN74LVC1G17 for the user interface then connect a SN74LV1T125 and SN74LV1T126 in back to back configuration as shown in the illustration below? 18 sets of this circuit will be installed in the board.
