HI,
After several times of hot swap, the 4 pin and 5 pin of sn74lvc2g125 are short circuited.
I want to know what the problem may be.
The schematic is as follows:
(The left is connected to the CPU and the right to the backplane)

Hello,
The most likely cause of damage from what I see would be excessive voltage.
When hot-swapping, is the connection order GND -> VCC -> DATA (ie different length pins)? Also, have you looked at the waveforms for the input during a hot-swap event?
sorry, the length of the pins is the same.
Druing hot-swap,a microsecond pulse will be generated. The max value is 7.5V,and the min value is -3.5V.
Both of those are beyond the absolute maximum ratings of the part and could cause immediate damage.
