we need to extend our 3.3V signal. would like to choose SN74LVC2G34, but we found they have two different input type.
1.Standard CMOS
2.Schmitt-Trigger
Could i ask what is the different? How can we choose them easily?

You would use the Schmitt-trigger device if you can have signals edges that would violate the Δt/Δv limit of standard inputs. See Understanding Schmitt Triggers.

Those are just standard inputs. So you would use them in any case that isn't what Clemens mentioned.
