My customer is looking for a 12-bit bidirectional buffer with AEC-Q100 qualification and small package. 
Would you please recommend a proper buffer device?

    What exactly does "bidirectional" mean?

    Transceivers have direction control inputs. The SN74LVTH16245A-Q1 has 16-bits; for 5 V, there is only the 8-bit SN74LXC8T245-Q1.

    Without a direction control signal, you need to use an auto-bidirectional device like the TXS0108E-Q1, which does not buffer the signals.
