SN74AXC1T45: PSPICE model / current consumption

Part Number: SN74AXC1T45

Hello,

I wanna use the SN74AXC1T45 in a new design, replacing the SN74AU. I was looking for a PSPICE model and I found one in a former E2E post. It seems to be an official TI macro based on the notes inside the macro source code. Using it in my simulation the device is drawing 9 mA of supply current from the VDDA supply which is at 1.2V, VDDB is 3.3 V, direction is A->B, DIR is connected to VDDB. This DC current is not changing, no matter what I do, even just supply the device with VDDA and VDDB + DIR connect to one of the supplies. I'm thinking that there might be something wrong with the macro ? Any advice ? I need to do a dynamic simulation to see if the device, I want to connect to port A, can overdrive the bus hold input structure. It should be based on the specification -> output current 1.2 mA if output is active. I'm a little bit concerned because the output is only active for half of the device CLK period of 3.0 MHz, for the other time the output is tristate. With my simulation I wanna make sure, that the transition between tristate and active is (fast enough)/(delivers enough current in time) to drive the AXC input. By the way, I'm also concerned about the 9 mA of supply current.

Thank you

Jan
