Hi team,

I want to find a Schmitt trigger input, three-state output buffer that can be the second source of SN74LVC1G125(6)DBVR for the customer. I checked SN74LVC1G17, but it doesn't have three-state output.

Could you please help provide some suggestions? Thanks a lot!

Hi Wendy,

There isn't going to a pin-to-pin solution for your specifications. We recommend to use the SN74LVC1G17 in series with the input which will provide the SN74LVC1G125 with its Scmitt-trigger inputs.

Another solution is to use SN74HCS244 which will have Schmitt-trigger inputs and three-state outputs but still will not be pin-to-pin as it is an octal buffer.

The nearest device would be the SN74LVC1G99. It is not pin compatible.
