I was hoping for a quick review of my usage of the SN74LVC16T245 in the linked schematic. Broadly just a confirmation of correct usage and specifically that the non-use of the second channel is handled properly.

    Hey Matthew,

    The only thing I would change is to leave the unused A port open. Since you are grounding the Dir2, that second A port will be an output.  Everything else looks good. I would also encourage you take a look at our new SN74LXC8T245 device. Not only will it give you a smaller form factor, but you will also benefit from some performance improvements and added features.
