SN74LV244A: Output power off protection

Part Number: SN74LV244A

Hi team,

The LV-A series logic devices are input tolerant, so I think the protection diode is not integrated from the input pin to VCC.
So, it allows to input the voltage higher than VCC within absolute maximum ratings.

What about the output pin when power down?
For example, if the output is pull-up with 5V and VCC=0V, does the reverse current flow to VCC?

The output circuit is CMOS, so I think LV-A series have reverse current from the output to VCC due to the parasitic diode (except for LV05/07 which is open-drain).
My customer found the app note which shows the LVC series have the output blocking diode to avoid the reverse current.
If you have the similar document like below for LV-A series, we'd appreciate if you share that with us.

Regards,
Itoh
