I want to replace SN74AHCT541 with SN74LVC541APW.

VCC is 5V.

The data sheet states that the recommended voltage is up to 3.6V.

Is it okay to replace it in this state?

5 V is larger than 3.6 V. The electrical characteristics will not be guaranteed; in particular, the input switching thresholds will be wrong for TTL signals.

Possible replacements are the SN74HCT541, CD74HCT541, SN74LV541AT, or CD74ACT541.
