I tried to simulate schmitt trigger using Ltspice and the given photo is the output with the circuit. The output does-not align with the values given in the data sheet. May i know on what changes to make to get output as per the datasheet?

The output is supposed to drive a load. Add a pull-up or pull-down resistor (even a weak one like 1 MΩ).

And the input signal is invalid; voltages below −0.5 V can destroy the device. (Unfortunately, LTSpice does not correctly simulate the resulting smoke signals.)

Does this mean that it cannot be simulated using LTSpice?

If you add a load and change the input signal to 2.5 V ±2.5 V, then it should work.
