Hello,

I am trying to find the thermal impedance of 5962-8755201VSA? Is there any information on this. I cannot seem to find the information in the datasheet. Also, what occurs when the max junction ambient is reached? Is there degradation strictly in the performance or the device will just be completely damaged?

    Hi Adam,

    I do not have this information on file, I'll have to submit a thermal request that usually takes 2 weeks to complete. I can post a reply here when I get the data. 

    For logic, we consider ambient temperature and junction temperature, as separate limitations on the operation of the device -- ie you can operate the device up to 85C ambient temperature, and you can operate it with a junction temperature up to 150C, however we do not guarantee operation at ambient temperatures above 85C or with junction temperatures above 150C. Violating either condition means the datasheet specs are no longer valid.
