Hi Experts,
Good day. Customer would like to use the TXS0108E to drive the optocoupler.
Original query is about the voltage drop when he tested a 470 ohm (using 3.3Va to 5Vb), the voltage is dropped from 5 to 2V. Able to confirm that this is because of the internal pullup that makes it a voltage divider.
Can you confirm if the device can be used on this application? D/S shows it can support up to 50mA.
Optocoupler can be operated from 7 to 12mA.
