TXB0104: can VCCA and VCCB use the same 3V3 voltage

Part Number: TXB0104
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMUX1511, SN74LV4066A, TXU0204, SN74AHC125, SN74LV125A, SN74LVC125A, TXU0304, TXU0104

Hi

i want to use TXB0104 for VCCA and VCCB use the same voltage 3V3.

is there any concern , thank you

  • This will work. The only concern is that it does not make sense to use a translator when you are not translating.

If you want to disconnect the two sides, use a switch like the SN74LV4066A or TMUX1511.
If you want to buffer the signals, use a buffered translator like the TXU0104/TXU0204/TXU0304 (P2P with the TXB) or a plain buffer like the SN74AHC125/SN74LV125A/SN74LVC125A.
