We are planning to use SN74LVC1G34 (Single 1.65-V to 5.5-V buffer) in our design.
- Input Voltage - 5.5V (Maximum)
- Output Voltage Level required - 1.8V
- VCC -1.8V
- Signal Used - 1PPS

10E Series termination and near to the connector
Is there any problem in the down conversion from 5.5V to 1.8V?
That resistor is not at the source. What is the characteristic impedance of the cable?
The down conversion is OK.
it is taken care in placement. The space came in between due to net name which is not in this diagram.
Hello,
Just for some additional information, please see this FAQ regarding the input voltage being greater than the supply voltage: Can the input voltage (Vi) to my logic device be higher than the supply voltage (Vcc)?
