Hello, I am looking at the datasheet for SN74AVC8T2450-Q1 page 17:

There is a pull-up on the DIR pin, how do I calculate the value of the pull-up resistor?

You need a pull-up only if you want to change the direction later. If the directions are fixed, you can connect the DIR input directly to V_CC. (Or use a fixed-direction translator like the TXU0104-Q1.)

The value is not really critical; 10 kΩ is commonly used.
