Hello,

I'm wondering if the IO and IOK in absolute maximum rating table are for one channel or for all sixteen channels. Can you help clarify?

I believe IOH and IOL specification are valid per channel. Is my understanding correct?

All these specifications are per pin. (The V_CC/GND specifications implicitly apply to multiple I/Os, but they can be measured at the V_CC/GND pins.)

Hi Clemens,

Thank you for confirmation. What I understand is : one channel would be damaged with >50mA current thru that channel, and the total device would be damaged with >100mA current thru VCC supply pin with any channel combinations.

May I additionally know what IOK output clamp current is?

Correct.

When an output pin is forced to a negative voltage, I_OK is the current that flows into the GND pin, through the diode, and out of the output pin.
