SN74AXC4T774: max data rate question

Part Number: SN74AXC4T774

Hi team,

In the datasheet of SN74AXC4T774, it says

"The max data rate can be up to 310Mbps when device translates a signal from 1.8V to 3.3V"

Does this  "1.8V to 3.3V" means

VCCA: 1.8V→VCCB: 3.3V

or

VCCA/VCCB=1.8V~3.3V

Also, if VCCA=3.3V and VCCB=1.2V,

What would be the max data rate?

Regards,

Ohashi

  • Hi Ohashi,

Does this  "1.8V to 3.3V" means

    VCCA: 1.8V→VCCB: 3.3V

    or

    VCCA/VCCB=1.8V~3.3V

It would mean VCCA or VCCB 1.8V to 3.3V up translation depending on the configuration as the device can up translate from VCCA (1.8V) to VCCB (3.3V) or VCCB (1.8V) to VCCA (3.3V).

    Also, if VCCA=3.3V and VCCB=1.2V,

What would be the max data rate?

I verified 1.2V<->3.3V translation for up to 240Mbps using the AXC EVM and would further recommend also verifying with the EVM per the system/loading requirements, thanks.

    Best Regards,

    Michael.
