Hi Team

Could you please confirm whether my understanding to the input voltage tolerance is correct?

Max: 7V

Min: -0.5V

    Hi David,

    The datasheet indicates that the input can be as low at -1.5V with 18mA of clamp diode current, and as high as 7 V with VCC of 5.5V.

    Although the datasheet does not include a recommendation, I would recommend that inputs remain within 0V to 5V for normal operation (ie static low / high states)
