TXS0102: VCCA and VCCB assigned to same voltage level and use it as a switch

Part Number: TXS0102
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SN74LVC2G66,

The situation is I have UART/I2C signals (UTX_SDA) and (URX_SCL) going to a daughter board where I want to gate these signals unless a certain condition is met. I have decided to use this device to Enable or Disable the signals using OE pin. When I want to pass these signals to daughtercard then I can make OE high and when I want to gate these signals, I can pull OE down. Let me know if this device can work for this application. If not then recommend me a device is UART and I2C compatible and I can disable and enable the device at will.
