SN74LV165A: As for Operating free-air temperature

Part Number: SN74LV165A

I have a question about the operating temperature range of the SN74LV165APWR. 
The latest datasheet says Operating free-air temperature is –40 to 125 C, 
but it was –40 to 85 C in 2001 according to our customer.
I would appreciate it if you could let me know when the change was made. 
Has the PCN been issued for this change?

This change was made in 2013:

If there was a PCN, it probably does no longer exist. In any case, the change is likely to be only in the testing.

Since 2001, there might have been other changes that do not resulted in datasheet changes. Just comparing the datasheets does not give you much useful information.
