TXU0304: what do it mean "dual-supply noninverting fixed direction voltage level translators"?

Part Number: TXU0304

Hi,

can you tell me what the meaning is "dual-supply noninverting fixed direction voltage level translators"? does it support bi-direction communication from A->B and B->A on 1 channel, saying A1?

or it's one direction only? example: A1/2/3 channels support A->B port, but A4 supports B->A port?

The shcmitt trigger is on 1 side (A1/2/3, B4), not support B1/2/3, A4, right?

  • "Fixed direction" means that each channel has a fixed direction. As shown in the image, the first three channels go from A to B, and the fourth, from B to A.

Schmitt-trigger inputs are at the pins that are inputs, i.e., OE/A1/A2/A3/B4.
