Do you have some scope shots of what you are seeing? This is a pretty old device. We have not touched this recently.
I am looking at pins 1 and 2 while they are fed with 5 VDC, or 5 V pulses through a 10k or 1k resistor. In either case, I wind up dropping almost all 5 volts across the resistor (leaving only a few tenths of a volt at the gate input).
Yes, all were acquired from authorized distributors.
