Dear Team,

I would like to ask if it is feasible to use SN74AVC2T245RSWR to convert the UART level in the following circuit? Does the OE pin need to be additionally controlled High or Low? Thank you.

This device will work, but the TXU0202 would be easier to use.

While /OE is high, both outputs are disabled. It should be pulled low.

Hello Jimmy,

The schematic looks good. We just need to make sure OE pin is pulled low to enable outputs.

If you want to simplify the setup, the TXU0202 can also work. The TXU0202 removes both DIR1 and DIR2 pins.

In the following situation, I would like to ask you to help confirm whether there will be any problems with the use of item2 below? Thank you.

1. Disconnect A side from HOST, use UART (terminal) on A side to control B side device ---> OK
2. Disconnect A side from HOST and pull-high pin8&9 to 1.8V, use UART (terminal) on B side to control B side device--->NG
