Hello,

My customer is considering using the SN54HC157-SP to develop a module for satellite.

They have questions about device selection.

Q1. Among the series below confirmed in the datasheet, is there only one product, 5962-8606101VEA, that can be used in the FM(Flight Model)?

Q2. Among the products below, which device can be used for EM (Engineering Model) and QM (Qualification Model)?

I think the customer support center might be better geared to answer this question: I'm not familiar with the separate requirements for FM, EM, and QM.

The only device available for purchase as SN54HC157-SP on TI.com is 5962-8606101VEA as shown below.

Q1. Of the products in the datasheet below, is it correct that the space-grade product is only 5962-8606101VEA?

Q2. If yes, which of the above devices is pin compatible and functionally equivalent to the space grade certification 5962-8606101VEA?

All of the devices are functionally equivalent, just not space-grade. The best device for pin-to-pin compatibility is probably SN54HC157J
