SN54HC164-SP: Radiation Hardened part availability (RHA)

Part Number: SN54HC164-SP

Tool/software:

We are looking to procure a radiation hardened shift register using the DLA SMD drawing number.  TI's webstore currently shows stock 5962-8416201VDA  , however the "-" in the part number indicates that the device is a non-RHA device.  I believe the device we need is the 5962R8416201VDA  , with the "R" indicating the RHA level.  Can you advise whom we should contact regarding quotation/availability ?

    Hi James,

    We do not have the R version of the part. We will be releasing a radiation-hardened version of the 595 shift register in January 2025 with samples available now (please contact me at m - lyn (at) ti.com if you are interested in samples).
