Hi Everyone,

I need some clarification on below highlighted:

1. What should be voltage level at pin 42 and pin 31? what is the application of pin42 and pin31?

2. Why we used 1.5V in below image?

3. What is EEF Rtt represent in circuit? is it pull-up resistance?

4. GTPL is compatible with VME Backplane logic or not?

5. Is there any isolation between 3A and 3B port?

Hi Gaurav,

I'm not sure what document you are getting this from. I am not familiar with it.

If you refer to the datasheet, you see that pins 42 and 31 are VCC pins for two of the different channels in the device

Not sure what you mean by this. These are both I/O pins which are correlated with one another, the datasheet shows a simple block diagram as to how they are connected:

Hi Gaurav,

I see. That diagram is talking about GTPL devices, but this is not a GTPL device, thus most of these questions you asked are not compatible with the device at hand (i.e., the VREF pin shown in the picture is a VCC pin on our device). If you compare the pinout from the datasheet to the one in the imagine they are not the same. It does not look like we sell or support GTPL devices at all anymore.

The SN74VMEH device is compatible and designed for VME backplane logic: SN74VMEH22501 Universal Bus Transceiver for the VMEbus Backplane (ti.com)
