Normal devices are not space rated. In particular, they are not protected against outgassing or radiation.

You would need a device like the SN54AHC244-SP.

We would like to confirm whether there are any using restrictions by TI regarding the use of automotive grade products in space applications.

TI does not have any restrictions on this, but we don't guarantee correct operation outside of the recommended operating conditions.
