I have a question about the following two devices.

-SN74LVCC3245APWR

SN74LV541APWR

Q1:

The absolute maximum ratings for the output current Io is

SN74LVCC3245APWR: ±50mA

SN74LV541APWR: ±35mA

Do both of the above apply to only one output or to the total of all eight outputs?

Q2:

For example, regarding the SN74LVCC3245APWR

the high level output current (IOHA) is listed as -24mA (VCCA: 2.7V/VCCB: 5.5V),Does this value apply to 1 output or total of all 8 outputs?

Also, is it possible for all outputs to be -24mA at the same time (all pins B1 to B8)?

These limts are per pin. But note that there also are VCC/GND limits.

Hello Higa,

Q1: The IO output current limit is per pin.

Q2: Similar to the above answer, IOHA limit is per pin. For all outputs running at 24mA, you need to make sure the continues current through VCCA, VCCB and GND does not surpass ±100mA.
