Other Parts Discussed in Thread: , TPLD-PROGRAM

Tool/software:

Hi expert,

1. Can TPLD1201 Series support custom part numbers after production?

2. Can this provide that supports burning custom configurations? Or do they need to buy they own production burning equipment?

3. Is the TPLD series all one-time burning?

4. Is the R&D phase self-burning with the TPLD1201-DGS-EVM? What else do they need? What kinds of guidance of we have?

Best Regards,

Winnie

  • Hi Winnie,

    1. Yes, the TPLD1201 series supports custom part numbers after production for repeat orders.

    2. Yes, you can program custom configurations. We recommend using an EVM and TPLD-PROGRAM for prototyping and ordering pre-programmed parts once your configuration has been confirmed.

    3. Yes, all TPLD are planned to be one-time programmable. There is a test mode that can be programmed multiple times, but this configuration is lost when power is reset. When burned, the program is retained when power is reset.

    4. In addition to the TPLD1201-DGS-EVM, you'll need a TPLD-PROGRAM and the programming software InterConnect Studio.

The EVM user's guide and the ICS user's guide both have instructions for starting programming. ICS also has some demo programs.
