TXU0304-Q1: Inquiry regarding change in spec of TXU0304-Q1 (PCN)

Hi, TI expert

Recently, the PCN of TXU0304-Q1 has been issued, and Datasheet has been updated to Revision B→C.

The attached PCN contents are as follows.

The updated VT-parameter of Revision B and Revision C of Datasheet has been changed as below.

The PCN contents have been informed to the customer who is currently using TXU0304-Q1, but the customer is requesting TI to confirm.

Q1) The VT parameter values ​​have changed, but why has only the datasheet been updated, while the IC components remain unchanged?

Q2) Is the VT-parameter value of the existing data sheet incorrectly measured?

Q3) VT-parameter value has been changed, but why is there no anticipated impact as below?

    Hello Grady,

    1) No architecture changes have been made to this part. This PCN document was intended to adjust the Vt- margins.

    2) As I mentioned above, when we initially created this part, the Vt- values had additional margin. What we did with this PCN is removed the Vt- margin.

    3) No die changes have been made to the part. If you are using the part before, you can continue to use it without impacting your system.
