Hi,
I have a power management device that outputs a PGOOD signal to 1.8V. I'd like to shift this up to 3.3V. I assume I can use a small/simple/cheap logic device. Could you recommend a part number for this?
Thanks!

Hi,
Did you check if the PGOOD output of the PM device is open drain? In that case you could pull it to 3.3V. If that is not the case, one possibility is to use the SN74AUC1G07 buffer with OD output, Vcc connected to 1.8V and its OD output pulled to 3.3V.
All the best,
Albert
If a buffer is needed
We also have The AUP1T devices that are designed to translate up to Vcc. SN74AUP1T17
Vcc at 3.3V and input can except 1.8V signals. output will be 3.3V.
I need a rise time of <10ns. So open drain won't work. The AUP1T device looks good.
Chris,
could you confirm that this device has <10ns rise time. I assume it does, but the datasheet only specs propagation delay.
only load is a pin.
Thanks much.
