Options for translation

Hi,

I need to translate 3V logic signals to an equivalent higher voltage signal, where the Voh and Vol can be set to -2V and 15V for example.

Ideally, I would like to be able to set the VOL and VOH to lie anywhere in the range from -15V to +15V, but obviously where VOH>VOL.

Here are some examples;

VOL=1V, VOH=3V

VOL=0V, VOH=6V

VOL=-1V, VOH=15V

VOL=-2V, VOH=6V

I can use a translator device or individual op-amps. Any appropriate device for this purpose?

  • the first 2 can be done with a SN74LS07. This part can translate up to 30V.  We do not have antranslator in the logic arena that will go below gnd.

    I will move this to the translator forum for other options.

  • Hi, Graham,

    Currently, we don't have the product which can work at negative power supply and provide the output below GND.

    But we are thinking to have the plan to do the negative voltage translator, if it is Ok, could you please share with us some detail application in your design? it will be useful for us do desing the negative voltage translator.
