SN74LVC16244A active bus hold circuitry?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SN74LVC16244A, SN74LVTH244A-EP

Hello,

The SN74LVC16244A datasheet has a footnote on page 5:

(1) All unused inputs of the device must be held at Vcc or GND to ensure proper device operation. Refer to the TI application report, Implications of Slow or Floating CMOS Inputs, literature number SCBA004.

When I look at this app note, Figure 18 and Table 1 seem to suggest that all parts in the LVC Widebus family have active bus hold incorporated. However, I can't find anything explicitly on the SN74LVC16244A datasheet to confirm this (which I believe is part of this family). For instance, it is very clearly stated on the SN74LVTH244A-EP datasheet: "Bus Hold on Data Inputs Eliminates the Need for External Pullup/Pulldown Resistors". The SN74LVC16244A datasheet does not say anything like this anywhere.

In summary: Do I need to include external pullups and pulldowns on the inputs of the SN74LVC16244A?
