SN74LV273A latch point?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SN74LV273A

What is the SN74LV273A latch point ?

In datasheet, the Vih is Vcc*0.7;  Does it means the Clk vih or Vin(data input)?

The VOLTAGE WAVEFORMS SETUP AND HOLD TIMES In datasheet, it also shows the 50% Vcc.

I am confused.

So the output may change after the latch point + Tpd?

Please help me to figure out, thanks.

  • David,

I can understand your confusion.  The V_IH data in the Recommended Operating Conditions table is for _all_ inputs.

The other section you refer to is the Parameter Measurement Information section.  The 50% V_CC mentioned is used to determine timing and switchign characteristics.  It has nothing to do with voltage thresholds.

Once the threshold voltage has been reached on an input, the appropriate output will change after t_pd seconds.

Please let me know if I can clarify further.
