Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SN74LVC2G07, SN7407Hello everyone, I believe that my component is related first, is teh SN7407 the generic part number for the SN74LVC2G07?

If not, then according to the datasheet, when I apply a logic high signal to the input, does the output become high impedance?

Hi Phillip,

The SN7407 is actually a different logic family. It is better to have this as a separate thread (I already split the thread).

You are correct that a high input will produce a high impedance output. There is a mistake in the datasheet function table.
