Need a divide by n counter to divide by 1000.  HC or HCT family preferred.  Found a 74HC4060 but configuration to divide by 1000 is not clear.  Also need spice model (preferably LT Spice).

    Hi William,

    I haven't been able to find a programmable counter like what you are describing in our portfolio -- that doesn't mean it doesn't exist, after all we have over 17k parts in our department alone -- just that I couldn't find it.

    I do have a suggestion though. You could use the CD74HCT4020 to count up from 0 to 1000 (or 999), then use a logic tree to manually reset the part. Would this solution possibly work for you, or do you need a part this does this all internally?
