SN74ALS541 / Absolute maximum ratings for negative voltage

Hi,

Please let me ask about abs max voltage for negative voltage. There is no information due to legacy part but I believe that these pins should have ESD protection diode and so it should be around -0.3V.

As shown in figure 17 of Advanced Schottky (ALS and AS) Logic Families (SDAA010), the inputs indeed have a clamping diode from ground.

Hey Satoshi,

I cannot guarantee it since its not on the datasheet, however the abs max for that value is generally around -0.5 V when there are clamping diodes.
