Hi All,

I am using SN74ALVC164245 in our design.

I want to hard control OE pin of this Level Translator. I also want to ensure that all the outputs are at High Impedance on Power On.

Can I Connect the OE Pin through a Pull-Up resister of 4.75K to VCCA and to GND. 

If not, How can I control the OE pin to meet the above requirement ?

    Hello Santanu,

    You should not connect the pin directly to VCCA and GND. In order to ensure the high impedance state at power up you should connect the OE pin to VCCA through a pull up and to a control pin such as a GPIO on a MCU that can pull the pin to ground when you want the outputs enabled.
