about SN74GTL2003PWR input level

dear supporting team,

customer is using SN74GTL2003PWR for bi-direction transfer for 1.8V and 3.3V.

1.8V side is  has 4.75K pull up, and then add 33 Ohm in series, the sch is as below:  they found S1-S8 side has low level voltage of 1V. is it ok for the application? tks a lot!

  • Hello Vera,

This product does not belong to my product line but I have notified the appropriate engineer to respond to your request.
  • 1V Vol is high enough to not be considered as low anymore for your application on D1,D2 ..Dn side.
Its most likely due to the low pullup resistors values which during low level would generate about 3.3/221 = 15mA of current. the 1.8V side wouldn't have the IOL capability to handle this current. Having higher pullup would alleviate the issue.
