SN74LV1T04 level shifter

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SN74LV1T04

Hello all,

I'm using a SN74LV1T04 level shifter/inverter. The specification of ΔIcc in the datasheet is quite limited. It's only specified for 1.8V and 5.5V Vcc.

In my case Vcc varies between 2.5 and 3.6V.  The input voltage is 0 or 1.8V. I would like some more detailed specification of ΔIcc as a function of Vcc and logic input levels.

My application needs to be very low power so ΔIcc is a critical parameter for me.

Is such information available?

Thanks,

Paul Beijer

  • Hi Paul ,

Moving over to voltage level shifter forum.
The delta Icc would be higher with input voltage levels around Vcc/2 . With 2.5V Vcc and 1.8V inputs , it is 0.7V away from Vcc and i would think it will less than 1.5mA .
with 3.6Vcc , and 1.8V input (~Vcc/2) , the delta Icc will be around 1mA is my assumption . This is the worst case assumption across temperature and at 25C operation , it would be much lower.
With both inputs ~Vcc/2 , the Icc across temperature may be higher .
