Hello,

Our customer is evaluating SN74AVC32T245. I got the questions from them.

1. Could you please let me know the allowable time between power supply to VCCA(or B) and power supply to VCCB(or A) ? 


2. If power is applied to VCCA only,  is there any effect on VCCB side? (for example, the glitch is occurred on VCCB side when power is applied to VCCA)

3. Could you please let me know the behavior of A and B side when the VCCA and VCCB power is applied and  /OE pins are not stabled ?
    They connect FPGA to /OE pins and the FPGA setting is not completed when the VCCA and VCCB power is applied.

I will appreciate your help with these questions.

  • Hello Ryuji,

    1. There is no power up sequence required for this device.

    2. If either VCC is at GND, both ports will be in a high impedance state. There should be no glitch at the output port.

    3. If OE is not stable and VCCA and VCCB are powered there is a possibility that glitches can occur at the output.
