SN74LV1T08: reset logic

Part Number: SN74LV1T08

Hi

I am using SN74LV1T08 for reset logic.I am not sure about the input supply voltage that Y i am using this IC.

But I have some doubts:-

1. Is it require pull up resistor at the input side and output side ?

2. I am using this pull up resistor so when I don't have input device so that by default will be logic High. But here is the catch that I don't know the input signal Supply voltage .How can i use this part ?

3. If i am using pull up resistor then how it will work ?

Please see below figure which i am planning to use:-

Please reply as soon as possible.

Thanks

Ashu

  • At the inputs, pull-ups are required if it is possible that the inputs would otherwise be floating while the LV1T08 is powered. The pull-ups always go to the same VCC that the LV1T08 is using, so it is no problem if you don't know what level VCC will be.

At the output, pull-ups are needed only if you need a valid voltate level even when the LV1T08 is powered off.
