let me expect your quick reply.

for OPAMP/Comparator, TI.com provides its FIT value based on one channel.

so, user has to mulitple th FIT by the number of channels in use.

BTW,, how about SN74HC574PWR ?

the FIT Ti.com showing is based on one channel or based on entire IC ?

Ti.com say FIT = 0.3 for SN74HC574PWR which is 8 Ch D-FF.

if user uses all 8 channels on board level, he has to use FIT = 2.4(0.3 x 8) because the shown FIT is based on one channel ?

or he has to use FIT = 0.3 because the FIT is based on entire IC ?

Hi Paul ,

This is per device according to my understanding .
If either of the channels fail , then the device is broken and should be replaced. if the customer uses a single channel , the FIT rate wont be half and FIT rate would not be double using 2 channels either.
will be waiting on our production and quality experts to comment and i can feedback their inputs as well.

You said the FIT is for entire IC, and it cannot br reduce even if there is no use channels.

Anyway, i hope get your final confirmation ASAP.
