    Hi Johnny,

    I have split your question into a unique thread - please post new questions to new threads in the future as this helps others find them more easily and helps our team track issues more accurately.

    The SN74LVC244A does not have an input bus-hold circuit.  Could you be referring to the SN74LVCH244A?  That device requires approximately 230uA max of input drive current to switch.  There is a graph in the application report "Bus-Hold circuit" specifically for this device, which I copied for this post:
