hi,
I have a question for you concerning the datasheet. In section 6.5 Electrical Characteristics does II refer to the maximum current that can be applied to the input pin or is it the maximum input leakage current?
Thanks,

Hi Eric,
Although this device is bipolar logic, it is still a voltage controlled input. The input voltage is intended to be between 0 and 5V, with a maximum rating of 7V.
The input current given (II) is the maximum amount of current that will sink into the input pin at the given conditions (VCC = 5.25 V, VI = 7 V).
