TXS0206-29: About 2.9V LDO

Part Number: TXS0206-29

Hi,

Could you tell me about TXS0206-29 internal LDO out put voltage?
Please tell me why LDO is set to 2.9V.
The standard of the SD Card Association is basically 2.7 to 3.6 V.
Therefore, customers questioned it.

Best Regards,
Yusuke/Japan Disty

  • Yusuke san,

The LDO has been tuned for 2.9V output with a 3.05-5.5V input voltage. The LDO can only output a voltage less than the input voltage.

If 3.3V was desired, it cannot accept a 3V voltage, which is within the SD card operation.

I am unsure about what design considerations were done during that time for optimizing to 2.9V regulation.
