TWL1200-Q1: Is SDIO_CLK_B Hi-Z if SDIO_CLK_A is HI-Z?

Part Number: TWL1200-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TXS02612, , TWL1200

I have an application where I need the SDIO output signals to all be floating or with weak pull-ups when the input is the same. At first I wanted to use TXS02612 along with the SEL pin, but it seems that the CLK signal will be pulled low when not selected. Was wondering if TWL1200-Q1 would work.

  • Hi Yifan,

These are application specific devices so I am notifying our translation expert to better help you with this. Thanks!
  • Hi Yifan,

It seems that the TWL1200 would be an overkill for your application which would need only SDIO interface.

TWL has 19bit translation and is an application specific device for Audio, SD, UART interface.

You could consider using the sn74avca406l device wherein the Ioff partial power down supports Hi-Z on the Input and IO ports when either of the supply is held low(0V). It can be pulled up by a weak pullup resistor(50k-100k) to have a default state.
