Hello, Support team

I have a question about SN74LV05A.
When Vcc = 3.3 V, we are considering pull-up 5 V to the output pin.
Is the following content correct?

7.1 Absolute Maximum Ratings
Vo Output voltage range (2) (3): -0.5 to VCC + 0.5 (V)

It is not described in the same open drain device (SN74LV07A).
Please let me know.

    Hi Sopatopa,

    This is an error in the datasheet. The Abs max rating listed for the output voltage is not correct. It should say 7 V instead of Vcc + .5. There is no diode to Vcc on the output since this is meant to be used for open drain operation and so output voltage is not limited to Vcc + .5.
    This error has been marked and when the datasheet is updated, the value will be changed.
